Standard Process has a compelling story to tell. Unlike many supplement companies, it maintains control across much of the product journey, from planting seeds and growing crops to harvesting, processing, bottling, and distribution. For prospective customers, seeing that process firsthand was often the moment that made the value of the company’s seed-to-supplement philosophy click.
The challenge was getting people there. Standard Process regularly invited customers to its family-owned farm in Palmyra, Wisconsin, but bringing every prospective client to the farm was time-consuming and difficult to scale. CM&D was brought in to recreate that experience through cinematic 360 video, developing an immersive farm tour that allowed the sales team to take customers behind the scenes from virtually anywhere.
The experience became a successful part of Standard Process’s sales and event toolkit, leading the company to bring CM&D back for a second immersive tour focused on its Nutrition Innovation Center in North Carolina. Together, the two projects gave Standard Process a portable way to showcase both sides of its story: the care that goes into growing its ingredients and the research behind the products that ultimately reach customers.
The Goal:
Turn a powerful but difficult-to-scale in-person tour into an immersive sales tool that helps customers understand the value behind Standard Process’s seed-to-supplement approach. The experience needed to preserve the authenticity of visiting the facilities while giving the sales team a practical way to share that story anywhere.
Our Approach:
CM&D managed the projects from early concept through final delivery, with a focus on cinematic storytelling, authenticity, and real-world sales use. Because the value of the experience came from seeing the people, places, and processes behind the brand, we used 360 video to put viewers directly inside environments that would otherwise require significant time and travel to experience firsthand.
